Jan Taminiau Tarnished Beauty @ Paris Haute Couture
There’s only one thing I can say about his new collection: PERFECT! This collection shows exactly why he’s my favourite Dutch Designer! The collection is feminine, colorful and extravagant with fragile forms, tarnished delicate fabrics underneath and in contrast with this glittering armor. He showed his Tarnished Beauty collection during Paris Haute Couture on January 23rd, 2012. The collection is designed to elevate women. For this purpose Jan Taminiau deploys an army of beauty. “Because your hair is your most beautiful accessory”
Some have hair of golden color, but what if it actually resembled gold jewelry? Exxtra Art Director Benny Goldstein had this idea for the “I am Haircare” product line, and collaborated with BRANSCH artist Chris Tribelhorn to realize his concept: “Because your hair is your most beautiful accessory. I don’t have hair of golden color, but my hair is more important then everything else (even my make-up)! If I have a bad hair day, my whole day is ruined. And I’m not joking. What is your opinion about this one?

In a few weeks my friends and me are going to a masquerade ball organised by students of Fontys Academy for Creative Industries. I never been on a masquerade ball before but I’ve seen one on Gossip Girl and I really love the idea. Have you ever been to a masquerade ball?
Tattoo problems | Which symbol you like the most?
A few weeks ago I confessed I really want another tattoo and showed you my tattoo inspiration. I only knew I want a symbol in my neck, but didn’t know which one. Now a few weeks later I have chosen a few symbols I really like. I’m only not sure which one it’s going to be. That’s why I want to know your opinion. Let me know which one you like the most.

Spotlight: Fashion Photographer Emre Guven
Fashion photographer Emre Guven shotted the Polina Uage Marie Claire Turkey photo spread.
Emre Guven graduated from Bilkent University Graphic Design Department. He took up photography in 2006 since then, he has been working as a fashion photographer, bringing his graphic design background into his style as love for experimentation in lighting, framing and retouching.
